We offer free support with mental health and wellbeing for people anywhere in Kent.
You might be struggling with anxiety or depression, experiencing stress, feeling hopeless, isolated or overwhelmed.
Whatever you’re facing, we are here to listen to you.
What we offer
Our range of services include support to help you:
- Feel more in control of your mental health
- Feel more confident in yourself or with your relationships
- Connect you with free talking therapies near you, such as counselling
- Find work, volunteering, or education
- Access support with drug or alcohol dependency
- Learn coping strategies by connecting you with therapy services and peer support near you
- Find out about wellbeing and physical health activities near you such as arts and crafts, yoga and keep fit.

We understand it can be very difficult to take the first step to reach out for help. When you’re ready, we will be here.
Our helpline advisors will listen and won’t make judgements. They can help you understand your options and guide you through the process of getting the help you need.
Live Well Kent is our largest mental health service, offering free help to anyone who lives in Kent. We also have a range of other mental health services available depending on your needs.
All our services are running and have been adapted to reflect the latest government coronavirus safety guidelines. Once you're referred to one of our mental health services, our staff will work with you in the safest way that works best for you.
We offer emotional support and practical help. This includes being able to liaise with your GP or other health professionals also involved in your support if you wish.
We can also help with things that may be adding to the pressure you’re under, such as housing problems, work, or money.

Live Well Kent can help you improve your mental health and wellbeing
Are your feelings or worries impacting on your relationships, work or life generally?
Live Well Kent can help you improve your mental health and wellbeing. This could be through support with with feelings such as anxiety, depression or loneliness or with practical things like work, finance and housing.
It is a free service for anyone in Kent over 17. Once you request a referral to Live Well Kent we aim to contact you within two days and refer you for support within 7 days.

If you're not working and feel as though life is getting on top of you, or you are living with a mental health condition, Porchlight's free Aspirations service can help.
We can help you regain your confidence, find ways to manage your mental health and wellbeing, and support you to gain work, volunteering or education opportunities.
Kent Homeless Connect
Through this service, we work with people whose mental health is severely affecting their ability to stay in accommodation or who are rough sleeping.
We can also support people in the process of waiting for housing, so they don’t have to cope alone.
BeYou service for LGBT+ young people
The BeYou Project offers a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space where young LGBT+ people who are 25 or under can meet to socialise, have fun and help each other. This includes regular meet-ups across Kent as well as one-to-one support.
There is also a BeYou website with lots of free resources and advice.

We work with young people and their families to help them stay safe and manage any difficulties they might be facing.
The local community can be a vital support network for people of any age. Helping young people connect more closely to theirs is a big part of what we do.
