If you are homeless, at risk of losing your home, or you are struggling with your mental health or the pressures in your life, we’re here for you. You may be looking to move forward in life or just to feel part of things in your community. We can help you to learn something new, develop your skills or get a job.
We can support you with:
- Learning new skills, training and volunteering, gaining qualifications
- Finding and holding down a job
- Job applications and going to job interviews
- Building confidence
- Regaining your independence.
What are my choices for accessing support?
We support in a range of ways including: by phone, video call, in-person and through virtual community groups.
Porchlight's helpline is a gateway to other support with housing, mental health and wellbeing, employment and isolation.
Our staff also work with women who are homelessness, or whose homes are at risk, and facing pressures such as difficult relationships, domestic abuse or violence.

If you're not working and feel as though life is getting on top of you, or you are living with a mental health condition, Porchlight's free Aspirations service can help.
We can help you regain your confidence, find ways to manage your mental health and wellbeing, and support you to gain work, volunteering or education opportunities.
